We do a calendar each year for all the family of images taken of the children to correspond with each month which was taken the previous year.
We always use Truprint for these believe it or not and the quality is very good, they normally work out around £8-50 with a discount code.
Phil get the chunky hand spun yarns those cost a fortune to purchase. I am a little obsessed with newborn knits, I have about 40 now in various different designs, parents love them. I also enjoy playing hunt the prop when out and about, be careful it can take over your life lol.
Yup trying to capture images of my two boys is a nightmare, now I venture out with the 70-200 and get candids unless they have decided to be nice for a change lol. The trouble is they know all the tricks and what buttons to push to wind me up. Take for instance trying to do my 4 year old sons...
I am glad it is not just me that has had issues with the pro galleries, online support has been next to useless lately that I have now dropped them! I would rather issue proof sheet PDFs than waste my time with them any longer, on the occasions that clients cant make it for a viewing session.
I switched from DSCL to Simlabs well over a year ago and have been very happy with the quality and of packaging/courier service.
Peak imaging are very good for larger prints.

I did my own samples for an agent last week as we are looking to move shortly. They are happy to use them but wont budge on the commission rate even though my images will be key to the marketing effort & better. I have told them they can do their own even if they will be just point and shoot...
