I use a f4 non is for weddings and general family shoots its a fantastic lens and a great piece of kit the biggest bonus for me is weight I'm using a 5d with battery grip and usually have a 580ex bolted on top as well and even as a sprightly 35yr old my hand and neck suffer after long days...
I've been told you can use a site called eoscount or something similar but not tried it myself, I tried a couple of sites with my 5d mk11 but couldn't get a count to work
I'm in the market for a canon 24-70 2.8L but I have also been looking at some very good condition 28-70 lenses as well .
As with all things photography I'd like to ask ypur opinions on whether to go for the 24 or half my purchase price with the 28 . Is the 24 really worth twice as much
And I think watercolour painters have it easy compared to the the hardships the old fashioned oil painters face, its a daily struggle for them don't you think Steve
Brilliant replies guys cheers I've actualy got 2 yn560 flash guns and I started with yn triggers and I cant actualy fault the flash guns but the triggers were a nightmare, sometimes they worked perfect then other times one would just decide it didn't want to play.
Which is exactly why I asked...
With lenses I'm refering to top branded gear eg. TAMRON etc. When I'm talking cheap I mean chinese junk like youngnuo and wansen etc.
I'm more interested in peoples views on the cheaper end of the market after sifting through hundreds of variations of the same thing :-)
One of my flash guns has just died and looking for a replacement ttl flashgun and the vast differences in cost, I'm asking myself if the higher price for the top "branded" goods is actually worth it.
I'm not talking about bodys and lenses which I would never even consider purchasing anything...
