I think they are still working on the spectator areas which is why the bridges are closed off. They tend to be open when the season starts properly.

Impressive photos from the specie side. You can get very close to the chain link at Old Hall but it's still difficult at times as I've found to my cost :rolleyes: Excellent stuff.

Oulton is one of the better circuits for taking photos. There's a bit of fencing but there are ways around them as there are now Grandstands that look over the fences at Lodge and Old Hall. No fences on the inside of Druids and you can easily get the "wheelie" picture. You can get to Druids by...

The tyre wall was made slightly higher last year so you have to stand on a box or something similar to see over it. I think they may be strengthening the barrier behind the tyres as a VW Golf Cup car went over it a few weeks ago. The car was removed the following day as it need a crane to get it...

I'm not sure my lenses are long/good enough but I'll have to give those angles a try.:)

Am I right in thinking these were all taken from the spectator enclosures? If so 2 and 3 aren't easy to get right so for that reason I like them a lot.

Looks like the run down to Druids.

Pretty good as it looks as though 3 & 4 were taken through the fencing.

A few of us did wonder whether the big truck would take your camera with it!! Interesting idea though:)

Think I would have started running at photo 4 - possibly 3 if I was having a bad day:)

The lady and the bloke she's pointing at seem to have decent passes so they are probably VIP's. No idea who they are.
