Can someone tell me where the last 56 years went? (Last time I edited this it said 51!)

I'm a Geek, a Dad, a hubby and an occasional snapper of images. I have sold the odd one to those who haven't been to specsavers recently.

My main trade has always been tech related. I specialise in helping businesses make sense of the online world, fixing websites so they rank well at the search engines and attract the right type of visitor. I've also been involved in the Cyber Security arena as an assessor for Cyber Essentials/PLUS certifications in the past.

I'll do many things for pizza and real ale. I used to do a lot of airborne thermal imaging work which I miss, loved the flying, so image fettling has been part of the day job too. Mind you, back then we used a custom piece of software running under Windows 3.11...

Coffee gets my attention. Milk, two sugars please (make it one sugar if the missus is watching...)

With my daughter, I also run Aloe Today, purveyor of some great aloe vera based health, wellness & beauty products (I don't use the beauty ones, this is my natural look!). I'm also available to talk about energy & utility costs through my partnership with Utility Warehouse.

I'm spending some time building my making, crafting & antiques related venture with random pieces appearing at DakesArt on Etsy from time to time. Why not follow along on Instagram too?
