Creative writing! I really liked writing what we'd call fanfiction now, just putting my favorite characters into new situations or playing with the idea of how they'd live in my hometown. Guess I'm too lazy for that now, but I remember enjoying the whole process of carefully crafting a story...

Very sad and shocking news, I was just thinking of his thread and hoping he's back by now, and now this... Deepest condolences to his family.

Life gets in a way sometimes, hope everything is okay with him and he'll be back soon!

Yeah, I know it shouldn't be a problem and it's absolutely not a club's fault or clubs as a concept, it's always people! There isn't much choice where I live unfortunately, but with all the online resources like forums and communities it's okay

Photoworks is great for RAWs and they also have a Mac version, so maybe try that. It's not a subscription-based program, too, so that's definitely an advantage.

I think local camera clubs make sense as a way to find company to not be alone in the journey, to learn new things, find like-minded people on the grounds of at least one shared hobby, etc. I used to be a member of a local photography chat when I first started and I've learned some interesting...

I'd probably brighten it up a bit (there is a good article on that) and worked on the contrast. However, I agree with Box Brownie, the image looks kinda flat, so there is only so much you can do :confused:

Ohh, it's definitey an older one, mid 2011 or 2012, can't remember correctly. Last time he mentioned it he said it worked fine, but some programs like Audacity or Photoworks could have been a litter faster, and he tried to get rid of the heating issue which came back eventually.

A friend of mine uses Air and he always talks about wanting to switch to Pro because of the screen and Air heating issues.
