Really nice set, the only thing I would say is the technique on #1 looks overdone. Regarding doing panning on photoshop, I would say at the end of the day whatever works for you. Its the end result that matters. Personally I always tried to get the panning right in camera, certainly if you look...
Thankyou for your feedback, your right. The problem I had was that when I did these my screen was poorly calibrate, since then I've got a new screen and I don't think I have that problem anymore
What I've found is its best to use a monopod if your shooting with a heavy lens which you can't handhold for long or find it uncomfortable too, or if your shooting from a long distance away at a slow shutter speed. If your shooting quite close to the subject the monopod does restrict your movement.
I agree with Richard, #2 is nice and my favourite of yours. #3 is a great idea, but the whites are overexposed on the car. #1 isn't quite in focus on the left hand corner of the car where your eye is drawn too. #4 is good. #5 looks a tad soft on the focus on the car.
You sure do, that's one of the exciting things about them your never quite sure what your going to see :) Same with trackdays, I've seen everything from a standard Volvo Estate to a BTCC Car!
So, I havn't bought a new screen yet, I'm saving up for one. But I have looked at the images on my phone and believe I have now fixed the problem. I've created all new lightroom presets for this season and they are definately not as bold colors as the ones I used last year.
