I'd take into consideration what friends and family have. Get recommendations from them.
All of my closest friends have Nikon equipment so borrow lenses from them if I need to.
One thing I find though is canon zoom lenses are a lot cheaper than Nikon.
Tried a rubber, still not working. I think there might be a problem with the aperture stick as it doesn't seem to go all the way back to its normal position :-( I don't want to force it.
No aperture ring.
I've tried cleaning the contacts with a microfibre cloth and that's not done anything.
I've tried my Lens on my d90 body and nothing :-(
Hi, I was at Soccer Aid last night and my Lens suddenly got an error after taking a picture. It's not been dropped, dinged etc. I tried taking it off and reseating it but nothing.
Camera body was my backup nikon D60. Body seems to be ok as had no problem with my Nikon 18-105.

Its a very modern museum with continually changing images projected onto the gallery walls, floor and visitors themselves creating a total, immersive environment. There is the odd tank dotted around though :)
