I have both but I haven't done any comparisons. I've tended to reach for one or other depending on extra flexibility of focal length or narrower depth of field/lower light capability. On paper I feel the 24-70 should be 'better', but I haven't scrutinised the pics and I have been happy with the...
Yes I quite like them being nearer the top so it's a bit asymmetrical, but I always like a bit quirky :)
I was a bit confused why people had commented on the others - that explains it :) I like your final one best I think anyway! I had come from the link on the main thread - otherwise I find I...
I did wonder if someone might try a spring... I really like this composition with the reflections.
I'm thinking you probably have a lot of biros that won't work properly now
The flowers are a nice shot too. I like that you have captured the silkiness of the petals.
I'm thinking you must have changed the shot in the main thread? For the last one... I like the subtle reflections and find it an interesting composition. I think I'd be tempted to crop a tiny bit off the bottom but I like that they are higher in the frame with the dark top and bright foreground.
I think you’ve found some particularly cute ones there. Almost made for a B&W rendition with their black noses and socks!
I love watching them too. Especially when they look like statues staring at you - reminds me of a game we used to play as kids.
Lovely spring shot. I like that the duckling just in front of Mum is facing us and the other in the background is has it's beak open, no doubt making a noise about something.
Thanks Paul. I'll have forgotten what they're called tomorrow :)
Thanks Catherine.
Thanks @Cobra
Thanks Nick. I quite like the fade too, but the truth is, if I didn't, I don't know how I'd remedy it :)
I think I'm a bit of a camera tart then as I still use and love both Canon and Olympus  I leave my tripod collar on my Oly 300mm and the Canon 100-400 too. I have never used a monopod or tripod with the 40-150, so it seems silly to carry it around, but I do appreciate Olympus providing...
@RedRobin I used those charity bands on my 40-150 pro to cover the lugs when I take the tripod ring off. They seem to be useful for so many little things.
