    Replacements for Fuji X10

Left my X10 where I shoudn’t have and lost it. This camera was ideal for carrying about in a pocket and performed well. I know a lot of people have or had one of these and would like recommendations for a replacement. Thanks Phil

    Anyone still using Aperture?

Thanks for replies - a bit clearer now. Will probably bite the bullet and upgrade the OS then see about upgrading Aperture. It is not shown in my purchases for some reason so will have to figure that one out. Everything is backed up by Time Machine to an external disc so I will have a copy of...

    Anyone still using Aperture?

Sorry, should have said - 3.60 does not seem to be available. At least I can’t find it on the App Store.. The migration thing was me getting confused with Photos which I don’t fancy really as quite happy with Aperture. I know it is not supported any more but would like to keep it. Need to...

    Anyone still using Aperture?

Thinking of upgrading OS to Yosemite (or Mavericks) and understand this will only run Aperture 3.6 - I have 3.2.2. Want to be able to migrate my library but don’t want to lose anything. Has anyone done this successfully?

    The Official Fuji X10/X20/X30/XF1/XQ1 Thread

Hello When I take a release the shutter shooting with the X10 there is a delay and the resulting image is different to what I was looking at. An example would be taking a snap of my grandson looking straight at me but the recorded image has him with his head turned, or if he is on the move...

Have Aperture, do I need Photoshop?

Shaun I don’t know a lot but at least you have something until a more knowledgable member comes along... I also use Aperture and have considered getting PS Elements to try some PP using layers that I have seen described in various places. People I know who have the full Photoshop package say...

There was an Olympus “street photography experience” https://www.olympusmag.co.uk/experiences/?e=10 last week in Brighton. Wrong day for me otherwise I was tempted.

    Olympus OM-D E-M5, E-M1, E-M10 - Mk1, Mk2 & Mk3 Owners Thread

I have the Retrospective 20 which is a good size. Held quite a bit of DSLR stuff but will be ideal for my EM5, 12-35, 35-100 (and 75-300 when I can afford it). It was expensive compared to others but is really well made and looks great - that may not be important to everyone of course. Have...

    External memory for Mac

Perhaps look in the computer threads lower down. I use a 1TB G Drive connected via firewire 800. Compatible with Time Machine so it just sits there backing everything up for me.

    Don't want a DSLR anymore....options please

Carl The Fuji HS10/20/30 is capable of producing very good results - just look at some of them on Flickr. One of the best photographers at my club uses one and regularly does well in competitions. Phil
