Had a bit of a play with two heavily tattooed models yesterday. It was more of a learning curve more than anything but we're quite happy with the results. Also shot a kind of alternative bridal set, here's one from that.

I cant really see the car to be fair, it's just a mass of undetailed black. I wont go as far as saying it's ****, though with this particular shot I'd have just maybe settled for some high contrast tweaks. The processing here, although not my cup of tea would probably suit a more detailed shot...

The eye contact in the second makes it my favourite.

Still not bad to say it isn't true 1:1 reproduction. I had the Canon 100mm 2.8 but got shut, it doesn't get anywhere near as close as the Raynox DCR-250.

I was gonna mention Lehmanns, ive bought spares from them before.

Both great shots, though the blurry bits in the first are a little distracting. That said, it doesn't spoil the image.

I was just gonna post this thread myself. I'll just join in this one. I have a 30D, and the obvious choice of an upgrade would be the 7D. I did want the 5D MKII but I have quality EF-S lenses i'm more than happy with. I also shoot lots of wildlife and Santa might be bringing me a Bigma for xmas...

I have the Tokina 11-16mm on my 30D and I find it better than the Canon 10-22mm. All I found with the Canon, although I liked it was that it suffered from fringing quite badly. Something i've never had with the Tokina. I shoot it at f5.6 most of the time and have never needed it to go more than...
