From my testing it keeps the charge rather well and if I do need an extra bit of juice it helps I know the ELB 1200 used to have a huge mains power adapter where you’d remove the battery and add this. However the ability to use any power bank like the ONE is a nice to have

If you're wanting a studio version then you already have the ELC 125 or 500 models - then this FIVE is the battery on-location version of those. Yes you can use a USB-C powerbank or even a mains adaptor if you want to use the FIVE from a power socket

There’s not much online about the FIVE yet as it’s not been officially announced by Elinchrom themselves. Should see something over the next few weeks with stock arriving end of October start of November

Depends if you shoot in low light and need that faster shutter speed without boosting the ISO. Nobody needs f/2.8 it’s just nice to have really but not at that price!

I totally get what you mean, it was just a tester pretty much to get my head to grips with this Lee System. Ordered some hard grads, keep the soft for certain locations, that should arrive tomorrow so be out and about to try some more interesting scenes.

I've shot a few photos down here but now I've bought into the Lee Filters system, this was my first place I wanted to visit and try it! Nikon D800 with 16-35mm - Big Stopper and 0.9 Soft Grad Let me know what you think :) Thanks

Many thanks to all those that helped with where to find a cover. Was glad my Google search turned up the link I had previously to Ace Optics as they just what I was looking for. Now to load some film and fire away!!

Well don't worry I found the site I saw with one on yesterday. Ordered this morning so hopefully be here tomorrow. Plus it was all UK so no waiting around for importing.
