Interesting thread, this response made me think of the time I took my nieces to a local splash park. Parents all had phones out recording videos which I'm sure would have other kids in the background. I took my camera and did take some images which I think are really fun...
So so hard for me to do street. I prep, I plan I travel and then get a nervous block and just wonder around for ages. These are some that I did manage tonight whilst in London for work.
I had a similar issue, it was a BIOS update that solved it - and yes the PC had been runing fine for a long while but just inside extended warranty - did that and it solved the issue.
Another work machine recently provided a RAM failure code, once swapped out worked fine.

Exactly that, no cyclists were harmed during the making! but I thought those 3 elements worked well and were worth sharing. The second one I was amazed at how still the subject was and managed a long exposure as a bus passed by.

I was in london this past week, new challenge for me to go out and photograph strangers. Really enjoyed spending my evenings exploring.

My new sigma 35 F1. 4 DG DN arrived today, I had felt for a while my kit was quite on the long side and didn't have much in the way of a walk around/video lens, I had been worried by some of the review videos but so far so good :) just wish the weather would be a little better.
Hey OP I'm in a similar position myself totally new to video but enjoying learning. I'd considered a gimbal for a while and lens combos I have just always seemed like they'd be too much for the SC (which I read can take 2kg payload) and the Ronin S looked too large/heavy - So the goldilocks...
