I did three days in NY with a 35mm on a FF. Enjoyed only having that one lens and made me think a bit more about the shots I was taking.

A couple of my two from sports day, albeit reduced resolution grabs from Facebook. Perfect opportunity to test the AF-C. Missed loads but got equally as many. Love this lens.

Sports day this afternoon so have the 56 ready to go.

It's superb. I'm not convinced that the 23 1.4 is anywhere near the Nikon 35 1.4 but the 56 is just fantastic.

So, my first Fuji wedding on Saturday. Was nervous as hell having only EVER shot Nikon. One D3s and 35mm in the bag just in case but I didn't touch it all day. Took me a while to settle down and get into it, no bridal preps which was a huge pain as I could really have done with those to ease...

First Fuji wedding today, two X-T1s and an X100s, throwing myself in at the deep end. Will have the D3s/35mm within reach just in case though...

Retrospective 7 - Big enough to comfortably carry three Fujis, three Fuji lenses, batteries, cards, filters etc without having to rummage around to find stuff?

Ordered another one today with a 23mm and of course the obligatory two spare batteries. Going to try and cover Saturday's wedding purely with Fuji although will have the D3s/35 on standby just in case...

Not tried the 23 yet but I absolutely LOVE the X100s. I never really got on with the X100 but this is a different story.

What does the D700 do that the X-T1 is lacking in? Just out of interest. I'm still nervous about switching so I'm always interested in other's opinions. But in terms of AF, having owned a D700 I don't see any major disadvantage with the Fuji.

To be honest, if I still had my D700s I'd 100% go Fuji.

I'll be using it next week, I'm that confident in it that I had no hesitation in selling the 85 which has been my favourite lens this past two years. ISO performance is a concern as I'm used to the D3s and I hate shooting with only one card slot but other than that it's a no brainer, the weight...

Had my X-T1 a week now and LOVE it. Got the 56mm a few days after and have already shifted my Nikon 85 1.4 and am selling a D3s. The X-T1 and 56 will now replace that for weddings, not quite ready to ditch the other D3s and 35 yet but if all goes well I want to be completely Fuji by the end of...
