    Gear losing value?

I think it's all about did your gear serve you well and did you get lots of enjoyment out of your cameras and lenses, if the answer is yes then surely you can't think about the loss just except the hit and move on, carry on enjoying the hobby you love.

    Misty morning in the forest

A very nice woodland shot Paul, if I was fussy the only thing I find a little annoying is the top left diagonal dark branch but a very good shot never the less.

    Lightning in Brighton

Nice shot but 'Sea Horse and the Pier' might have been more appropriate not that it matters much.

    Beginner Nikon AF-S 300mm f/4 ED

I have used the 300mm F/4 for years and it's my favourite lens once you get the knack of it you'll love it.

Is the Nikon 200-500 a bargain or what?

I used the 200-500 with and without the 1.4 TC and it was super sharp on the Nikon D810 if it hadn't of been for the size/weight I'd have kept it.

    Dust or Fungus?

I have a Nikon 2.8 80-200mm lens which also suffer with some inner lens fungi but believe it or not an aphid got inside and got rid of most of it.

    Stop Brexit Man

I think it might have been a better shot without the yellow ribbon, he never achieved fame in my eyes, far from it

    Middle daughter

It's a very nice photo! The only picky point is that seam that runs across the back of her shoulder but a well taken shot Peter.
