I've been a couple of times &, as DeeJay says, most of the outdoor enclosures are behind wire/glass and the interior ones are quite dark. That doesn't mean that you can't get good shots, you just have to be patient especially if it's busy. IMO the best opportunity for shots is the lemur...

Another Hitech user, again bought mine from Teamwork via their ebay shop. I use these in conjunction with the Lee foundation kit, and store them in a multi-slot Lee pouch I also picked up on ebay.

Never heard of them before. Their stock of men's jackets bears no relation to the current North Face range, although they could be selling old ranges? Also, there is a distinct lack of product names. All North Face products have a name... Another thing that would make me suspicious is...

Personally, several thinner layers work better for me than one/two thick layers, e.g. base layer, mid layer and then outer layer/waterproof. I'm a bit of a North Face fan boy & their fleeces are fantastic....try Go Outdoors or Webtogs

That's a great capture - fantastic serenity and the hints of red behind the castle make a subtle contrast. My only critique would be the dayglo orange buoys (esp the two to the left) are a little distracting. Otherwise :thumbs:

That's a great shot Jon - beautiful sunrise. I was at the exact same spot in June, although nowhere near the time of day that you ventured out!

I've found the "Missing Manual" to be invaluable - linky It is a bit big & bulky though so may not be suitable for travelling around with...
