    Gemenid meteor shower

Just caught this one! I saw an absolutely wonderful green fireball that lasted for at least a second, would have been a tremendous trail...but was JUST OUT OF FRAME!!! Nooooooooo. Lots of them tonight but it's getting the clouds to stay out of the damn way! Exciting, but tired now. :(

    Sigma 50mm 1.4 on Canon 6D

The Siggy is absolutely stunning. I have it for my D7000 and it's on my camera 90% of the time.

    Cullmann Magnesit MB6.1 Review

Mounted on the tripod it's just perfect the way it's worked out. The diameter of the ballhead pefectly fits the diameter of the Feisol CT-3301 platform. A quick twist on and the ballhead is secure. I made sure the panning knob was suitably locked and boy does it lock tight without much...

Review Feisol CT-3301 Carbon Fibre Tripod Initial Review

Just a wee update - I decided to try the long spikes to see just how difficult a process it was, and it wasn't. I locked off the smallest section and with a little bit of a push, the rubber end cap was removed. This revealed another metal cap with a threaded hole on the end, on to which the...

In Use This is an initial review to get initial thoughts out there before I use it in the field. However it's a total cinch to set up, extending legs is effortless with the rapid versions, one hand can undo both leg locks and then extending them out is simple. Quick half to full turn to lock...

    Nikon D7xxx owners thread

Hi all I'm back after over 3 years away from DSLR's. I used to have a Canon 450D and used a few lenses in my time including L's and a lot of Sigmas. Anyway I ended up selling most of my lenses due to lack of funds and ended up with the 450D body sitting in the cupboard...so I sold...
