Don't practice on the general public in cars at night with a flash... one way or another you'll either really p*ss someone off & it might land you in trouble or cause an accident... the rally drivers should be used to it, how I don't know but I've seen them driving at top speed through a wall of...

I like it for the sense of movement all around & the staticness(?) of the subject frozen in the frame... & I think the desaturation works.

Superb shot... I can see how it works so well in B&W compared to colour & it's a cracking conversion... the whites up top seem a little too vibrant for my taste... to contrasty. Definitely a keeper... which wall is it going on?

Yup... you'll notice that the light changes as you spin it (circular or linear).

I've used both circular & linear on both Fuji (s602) & Canon (350D & A85) cameras with no detremental effect on the AF. On the Canons with the linear, however, you have to adjust the exposure to compensate as the metering can't cope with it (apparently it uses a type of polariser in the metering...

Excellent shots... I've not been to Brands but it looks like you've got some good, clear, close views of the track... or did you manage to blag a trackside pass? At the GP they had 2x8ft link fences (yes 2) to look through as soon as you got anywhere near the track!

Very good shot... shutter not so fast as to freeze the track... good panning. Has it been cropped much? What sort of lens are you using? I've not made it to any bike races yet this year (except the Brit GP which was a total washout) so I'm dead jealous... looking forward to seeing more.

Cheers Stepheno... I got a few without people but I wanted to show a cross section of the keepers from that shoot... I liked the contrast in that one... & the way everyone's looking at something else (a gun dog) except the boy... just a chance shot.

Go to Australia... they're a lot bigger & dead easy to spot... & there's loads of them... Took this & many others with my A85 at 400iso at dusk in Port Douglas... boy do they make a racket. (technically speaking I think they're flying foxes but there's various arguements I heard to...

Nice scenery... definitely worth a trip back for a weathered, moody shot or sunset/rise (not sure which side you are there)... good if you could get a rough sea.

Nice pics with very dramatic skies but have to agree with Steep... 1 & 3 do look a little overprocessed... maybe their different in their full size original.

Should have a sparkler attached to its roof... they drive 'em like dodgems, might as well look like one too.
