    Hello from San Francisco!

Hello from San Francisco, CA, USA! I'm a travel, lifestyle, and portrait photographer roaming the world one country at a time! Would love it if you guys saw some of the art from Burning Man 2018! It was so beautiful and surreal! Thanks! Henry

    Art of Burning Man 2018

Burning Man is super special to me and one of the few places I must go every year. Having said that, I've taken many photos over the years and would love it if you guys saw some of the magnificent art from last year at Burning Man 2018.

How to Improve this shot ? Equipment / Settings or Processing.

All i can think of is getting a 1.4 lens so you can get more light in and therefore a lower ISO. or underexposing it alot, shooting in RAW, ISO around 800, and then fixing it in post.

To f/1.8 or not to f/1.8

the 1.8 will always better than the 3.5 quality wise. But it really depends.. do you want that creamy bokeh?

    Beginner Flat light.

Flat gray light is pretty great if you don't want shadowy/contrasty shots.

Backpacking Asia + Aus- take a tripod?

I think this really depends on how serious you are for getting the shot you want. I rely on my photography as income, so I definitely bring my tripod with me wherever I go. But if you're traveling for traveling sake - you may want to consider lightening the load of your lenses/tripod gear.

Street photography - 35mm or nifty fifty

My primary is the 35mm Sigma 1.4 ART lens because it allows me to get the whole range of shot, be it a big shot or a portrait shot.
