    I hate Fuji!

I know quite a few Leica users who are considering it, mainly those who are still shooting ever-more-expensive film but who can't afford an m9. Must say I'm tempted but I'll see where things are at a few months down the line. Doubt I'll ever sell my M6 though.

    Fuji mirrorless ILC X-PRO

It's a 52mm filter thread so go off that. Looks very promising to me. http://www.stevehuffphoto.com/2012/01/04/the-new-fuji-x-pro1-details-yep-fuji-is-in-this-to-win-it/

    Shooting exclusively film

I shoot film.. Sold off my D700 and 35/50/85mm lenses and now I just use a Leica M6. I had both for a little while but for me shooting film is just more fun and more personal. Plus no-one takes you seriously, which is kind of good. I keep thinking of getting a X10 or X100 just so I have...

    Denmark with a rangefinder

Yeah I noticed that with the M6 too, either I forgot about the margin for error or I just completely forgot about the frame lines. :D There's some photos here but the prints from the lab were really flat and then I scanned them in using an all-in-one printer so the sharpness has been lost...

    Denmark with a rangefinder

Good to see someone using a rangefinder on here. :) Beautiful vibrancy and sharpness to your images ped; would've liked to have seen the feet in #1 and #6 but other than that they're my kind of photos. I've just picked up an M6 and it's so much more fun and natural to use than my dslr. Love...

    Cornfield Shot

Beautifully atmospheric, but I do feel at this size the person is slightly lost in the darkness (I do get that they are kinda lurking there). I've looked at it on Flickr and it's less of an issue there. Also, can't help but feel that the humble gas mask is becoming somewhat of an overused prop...

    First dance.

Nice work Dav, great timing and processing fella. Being critical I'd actually prefer a tighter, wider angle shot - it would have made it feel more dynamic and the folks in the background don't really add much for me. Also, the hot spot on the floor is a little offputting. High quality work...

Walked in to town and back today, taking portraits of strangers...

A real snapshot of the community, I like these - you clearly had a good rapport with the people you were photographing. Nice work with the processing too. :)

    Menorca

Thanks very much Sara, probably my favourite photo from the trip, she was in a total world of her own. :) Haha, what can I say Les? I admire your honesty! To be honest I see it as being focused on the head of the cat, exposed for the cat's face and is noisy because I scanned it in from a lab...

    Menorca

These were taken while on holiday in Menorca with family and friends; the rest of the set are on the blog, but just thought I'd share a few on here as well. Blog Entry. Cheers, Ian :)

    Pre Wedding Shoot

#1 for me it would've been better were they not directly in front of the trees, it's hard to pick them out. #2 I don't really get, sorry. It's quite a nice photo, but is she walking towards the steps? Is it a detail shot? I'm not sure. Without seeing her face I'm struggling to connect. Not...

    Female Portrait

Hi Tom, just had a look at the blog and it's a consistent set of images, good to see some familiar locations around Manchester as well. :) Only thing I'm not too keen on is the position of the catchlight in her eyes, it's a little bit too low for my liking, but other than that nice work.

Not talking to you, dropout. :D Sorry you couldn't make it mate. Yeah the weather just about held off, started drizzling towards the end but nothing we couldn't cope with!

    12.03.11 Manchester Meet - Photos

Ahh you should've popped over, we ended up at LCE more than once. Not sure when we'll be out again, but if you keep an eye on the NW meet discussion thread, the announcement thread and the Manchester thread there's usually something going on. Hey Rob, I'm definitely interested to...

    12.03.11 Manchester Meet - Photos

Ok guys, let's see what you got. :) Here are a few from me; I stuck to one camera, one lens and probably 95% of the time manual focus; so I'm happy I managed to get anything! Don't think I've laughed so much in quite a while, the quest for photos was definitely secondary to the jokes and...
