Thanks everyone. The critique means a lot to me! Definitely helps me to improve my photography and perhaps look at doing things in ways I wouldn't have thought of. Ill check out changing the crop as per everyone's ideas.

Week 8 - Time Click Me

So, finally got round to taking my Time photo! I had surgery last week so have spent the time recovering. I initially wanted to capture the movement of the pendulum of this clock, but it had broken! I decided on capturing the second hand movement instead. I decided to stay away from looking...

So would people recommend breaking the aspect ratio to get more width in but remove the thumb? If I move the pic much higher ill get the bottom of the nostrils in the shot.. :-/

Thanks for the feedback everyone! Ill give it a different crop and see what it looks like :) The water was just from when we wet the lipstick to dry and get the hundreds and thousands to stick! Ended up having to use lip gloss as a glue to get it to stick. Glad I got this photo out of the way...

As said, nice colours but needs something doing with the blackness of the top of the bush. Either lightening to bring out more detail or cropping out.

I really like this! I'd like to see perhaps a tiny bit extra DOF to get all of the shavings in focus.
