It's somewhere I've always wanted to visit, but after seeing this stunning set I know I'd come back disappointed with my shots.
I see that you are 17 and guess that you are applying for a college course, or similar. I agree that looking at how other photographers would approach the task is useful and all part of the learning curve, but at your age the interviewers will not expect you to have fund your photographic...
I know this road and the tress really are stunning. No 2 for me because I like the way the sunlight plays on the road and that's something you're very aware of when you drive along there. Are you going to revisit it in autumn? :)
Ian - Jet is a real cutie, and looking at him stalking through the grass I think your neighbourhood birds and small mammals should be warned that he will get bigger, faster and more cunning. :nailbiting: Well done on getting details in his fur.

It's ages since I've posted any pics on here - my mojo took a long holiday - but it's time I picked up my camera again and tried to remember which way to point it - so I'm in. Eek - I'd better start thinking.
There's no doubt - the first one's a stunner and deserves pride of place on your living room wall. But I also love the old world charm of the second one, and the soft light is beautiful. Definitely worth the early start. :)
