    Views on Tamron 70 200 f2.8 G2

I’ve owned one for over 2 years, paired with my Canon 6D Mk2. Brilliant lens, solid build, good focus, images are crisp.

    What lens for a wedding?

You really shouldn't have to justify all of the above! It's up to you what you photograph! Ignore the silly comments and enjoy taking the photos. I hope you get some great shots!

A Tamron 24-70 F2.8 G2 will be good. £800 from Panamoz. I have the lens myself, great bit of kit.

    Canon EOS 6D Mk2 Owner's Thread

Thanks for the replies all. I think for around £900 its excellent value, most of the negative reviews were done when this camera was released and was priced at around £1700-£2000. Now though for £900, it's good value. If it was priced at lets say £1000 upon release, would it still have got all...

I don't overly increase the shadows in Lightroom, only where it needs doing, or when I need to recover some of the detail in the shadows.

    Canon EOS 6D Mk2 Owner's Thread

I wasn't asking the point of DR, I am aware of what it is. I was asking if it is as much of an issue as all the reviews are making out. Maybe I should've wording it differently. Thanks for your input.

    Canon EOS 6D Mk2 Owner's Thread

Hi All, I am seriously looking at the 6D Mk2 as an upgrade from my 600D. I feel it will be a worthy upgrade, especially as prices are now in the £950 region on Panamoz, HDEW. Will be paring it up with a Tamron 24-70 f2.8 G2 and 50mm f1.8. Can anyone who has purchased a 6D Mk2 comment on the...

    London City - Lowlight

Thank you for the response guys. I used a remote control, and set the Shutter to Bulb mode. Most of the shots were around 30-60-90 seconds. Too long?? Would a shorter Shutter have worked better? I was shooting at F22 on the 18-55mm kit lens.

    London City - Lowlight

This was my first proper attempt at low light. I agree they do look a bit soft and not sharp. Yes I did use a tripod, it was a cheap Velbon CX-540. Weather conditions were windy too! I think I know what to do now.
