If you are wet cleaning a mirrorless camera with IBIS make sure to have the camera switched on as this will hold the sensor in place otherwise there is the possibility of damaging the IBIS mechanism.
At least that’s what I’ve read and it sounds plausible.
Nice nostalgic scene Sam. Great idea to show the photo frame through the clock front.
I see what Chris means about the sloping clock top but it doesn't bother me, it looks quite natural from that viewing angle IMO.
Two super shots Simon.
I love the first for it's serenity and I like #2 for, as Geof said, it's interesting blurred water effect.
Well worth nipping out for!
Great images Alf.
I like them all but if pushed I’d have to choose #3 as my favourite as, for me, the colours and cloud reflections give it emotional impact.
Thanks for the explanation and compliment Barry.
I’m sure I’ll eventually get my head around what all the components do, but until then I’ll just marvel at the quality of good old British engineering!
Thanks Geof and Mark.
I enjoyed my first visit to the museum and found the engineering details fascinating even without recognising much more than the wheels! So another visit is on the cards for later.
On a recent visit to the National Railway Museum rather than trying to photograph complete locomotives I went for some small sections.
I'm not what you would call a railway enthusiast and although I've lived in York for 50 years this was my first visit to the museum (how disgraceful!).
Any...
Apparently a known problem which can happen if PS is opened from Lightroom Classic CC, although it’s not happened to me.
Try opening Photoshop before processing in Lightroom.
Last week York held its annual Food Fair and while wandering around I snapped a few people that I thought were interesting.
These are some of the results and I'd very much appreciate your critique.
Many thanks in advance.
Hi Harry
I did wonder if it was a C172. I did quite a few hours in those in the late 1980s but never as a camera ship, although it was quite usual to side slip to give passengers a better view of a ground feature. Happy days!
Thanks for the reply.
