    Hi folks. Happy New Year to you all. We have just managed to have a dry day here. Something of an event! The fields here are waterlogged though and I have a very wet muddy labrador in my kitchen who has just come back from her walk.

    Yes you are right. They are not as good as they should be but I didnt want to spoil the moment and use flash so they are on 1.8, my lab on 1/20s and the spaniel 1/6s, both handheld.

    Thanks for arranging the meet Martin. It was good to meet up again with everyone. I havent got any brilliant shots, and Gary has beaten me to it with the zebra and penguin ones. I'll have a look through later and post a couple, if I can remember how to.

    Thank you Mike. I do have shaky hands and even with the VR I have had this problem before. I will try a higher ISO. With my D60 I used to get a lot of noise with higher ISO but maybe my new D90 will be better.
