    First proper model shoot

Will fix the colour issue, (being colour blind sucks..!) What do you guys mean "soft focus look" they look pin sharp when I zoom in on lightroom?

Just got a studio space, outsource prints or buy own printer?

Hi Just got my own studio, and I'm soon going to be offering baby/family/pet photography. Just doing a bit of research, is it worthwhile making the investment in a good printer - or is it best to outsource the printing and put the costings into my pricing? Thanks

Would you use a 35mm prime on full frame for full body portraits?

Thanks guys, it's for a clothing brand and they need full body shots so I may just stick to 50mm...

Would you use a 35mm prime on full frame for full body portraits?

Struggling for space in my studio area, and I'm thinking 85mm is going to be too tight for full body shots. Could potentially go 50mm, but I want to shoot on the A7R2 which I only have access to a 35mm lens...

Using speedlights in a studio setup?

Cool, you've all swayed me! My studio has loads of power outlets so perfect really, going to learn the basics and practice with speedlights - then upgrade to studio heads asap. :)

Using speedlights in a studio setup?

I figured I'd use 2 of the smaller brollies to light a backdrop, and 2 big ones for key/fill light and a barebone flash as hair/backlight. Feel free to tell me this is wrong, I'm still learning. :)

Using speedlights in a studio setup?

Yeah, I do a lot of event photography so use the speedlights a lot for that - studio work however is a new ball game for me. Only just got the space for a studio having got an office and had some space to have the studio!

    Multiple backdrop setup?

Perfect! I'll do some digging around, I could've sworn I've seen a video with similar chains to that and he said they always snapped...

Using speedlights in a studio setup?

Thanks Phil, that flash looks great for the price - I already had 4 speedlights though with triggers (Yongnuo 560 III's) so have bought a 5th and have spent £130 on 2x 150cm and 2x109cm umbrellas. I think while I'm still learning and mastering it speedlights will be fine for a learning base...

Using speedlights in a studio setup?

Hmm true, I'm just getting started - so for the time being I think I can make do with 5 speedlights till the work comes in to justify the upgrade? :)

Using speedlights in a studio setup?

Are there any major downsides to using speedlights over studio lights apart from the battery and recycle times? Thanks

    Multiple backdrop setup?

Can anyone recommend a good multi-backdrop setup? Doesn't need to have automation, just an easy way for me to wind, and unwind the backgrounds would be ace. Thank you
