I thought serving and ex Police personnel were on the exemption list? I got a couple of letters asking availability and holiday dates at the start of the year but not heard anything. I'm sure Police personnel were exempt. That's in Scotland mind you.

Good luck matty in finding the culprits. Many people have fallen for the techniques used by fraudsters and your friend is not the first and certainly won't be the last. They seem to be well organised as when you posted you seemed convinced they were genuine. Keep the thread updated as and when...

That's what I was getting at rather than naming the other forums that we know do these threads. it would save me leaving the forum to see what shots are new with a lens I particularly like. some of the shots are really inspirational.

I like this idea too. The TP community are so creative and it would be an easy reference point for people considering a certain lens purchase.
