    Godox 685S, X1 and the Sony A7RIV

So the Sony version of the Godox X1 will talk to the Canon version of the 685 Phil? I’ve still got that so that would be pretty cool

    Godox 685S, X1 and the Sony A7RIV

Firstly apologies if this has been asked before. I have checked but I couldn't see anything. So I was wondering if the Godox 685S and the Godox X1 works with the Sony A7RIV. I've looked on line and not been able to find anywhere where it says that they do. I've used the Godox 685C with my...

    Canon 70-200 F4 Lens Collar

Can anyone recommend a third party version of the lens collar for the above lens please? Paying over £100 for the canon version is crazy so was hoping there was a third party alternative. That said I want something that I can trust to protect my camera and lens when it's 5.5ft off the ground :)

    Critique Copt Hill

Hi Simon, this has some lovely colour and is from an interesting part of the day. To me the focal point is the two trees. Have you tried a portrait crop to give them more attention as they seem a bit lost in a landscape crop.

    Canon Extenders

Thanks Matt, I have a 5D III and own the non IS version of the 70-200mm F4 so going for a mk1 v mk3 probably wouldn't make much difference, except to my pocket.

    Canon Extenders

I was considering purchasing an extender for my Canon EF 70-200mm F4 and see there are 1.4x and 2x variations in the canon range together with multiple versions of each. Does anyone know what the difference is between a mk1 and mk3 version of the 2x extender for example? (by the way I will...

Trade Canvas Print - Our community, photos, offers & more

I did a friend's wedding recently and they've asked me to get three canvas prints done. Seeing all of the lovely images on here of other people's prints I thought it was worth giving Trade Canvas Prints a go so I loaded the files last night and fingers crossed they were ok and can be printed on...

    Photos in a public place

Unfortunately it wasn't from the street path it was in the space between the buildings. I was told the area was for people to sit and smoke in but not to take pictures without permission.

    Photos in a public place

Could someone point me in the right direction to read up on the law of taking photos in a public place please? Today I was in Wellington place in Leeds. A new collection of buildings that have just gone up when a security guard stopped me in the grounds from taking photos. He explained that I...

High and Low Key Photography and Processing

I'd like to understand this technique more and also how to process in this style as well. Can anyone recommend some photographers who shoot this style, some good articles on the topic or youtube vids to watch please? Over the next few months I'm planning a shoot in Leeds city centre and want...

    speed light advice

I have to agree with both Soeren and Phil. I've only just started with flash and their suggestion is definitely the way to go. I went the Godox way but I know Yongnuo is equally as good and both are a fraction of the price of the main brands. I got my kit from Amazon.
