Hi,
I have a Sony A7iii with the following lenses...
Sigma 35mm Art F/1.4 (EF fit)
Sony 85mm F/1.8
Sigma 105mm F/2.8 (EF Fit)
Tamron 70-200 F/2.8 G2 (EF Fit)
Some are EF lenses as I recently switched from Canon but I am using them with the Sigma MC-11 adapter which actually works really well...
I'm using what was lightroom cc and is now lightroom classic. I use to have no problems until recently. I have seen some forums suggesting to have multiple catalogues and I'll probably give it a go just to see if it helps
Hi all,
The past 2 weeks when using Lightroom, it has been ok in the develop module to start with but the more I do, the slower it gets! So bad at times I can click on crop and have time to make a brew before the crop tool is available!
I have since taken my SSD out of my laptop as I suspected...
Hi,
I closed everything else that was running and stopped the anti-virus, disconnected form the internet etc. Everything I could think off. Also stopped all programs from launching at start up and rebooted. It didn't make any difference
Hi,
Just wondering if anyone has noticed Lightroom classic being more demanding on a CPU recently?
For a week my laptop has been struggling more and more to the point where even doing basic adjustments takes forever! The screen keeps saying not responding when I click on an adjustment and...
What about micro SD cards? Generally reliable or not. I've had 3 become corrupt in 2 years that have been used in phones and tablets. All decent brands but it's the reason I won't use them with an adaptor in my camera. Possible the deleting of things 'in phone' is damaging them? It's probably...
Whether he is right or wrong, to be on the safe side, I have stopped deleting in camera as memory is so cheap. Always use Sandisk SD cards and only one has got corrupted before and until know I always deleted in camera.
So, I attended a Photography training course recently and during the course, the tutor saw me delete an image 'in camera'. He said that deleting images this way "is the easiest way to corrupt a memory card". Anyone else know if this is fact or not?
Hi,
Have similar problems with mine. Found recently that if I'm close to the subject then the focus is great. But if I'm far away then it always seems to front focus. Almost as if I have used the lower focus point and not the centre.
You guess correct. My main duty was to help video the wedding with my friend. I was also taking photos with the couple's permission to help build a portfolio and get some wedding exposure and the 70-200 was just the most convenient at the time. No need to change lenses.
But when I am the main...
What I was getting at it that I have been a 2nd tog numerous times whilst helping a friend who is a videographer. Those times I was using a 70-200. During this training course I will be sticking to 35/85 and I'll find out how it goes.
