To be honest, I think that's a great attitude to have. Like you, I don't think I'm one of the best out there, but I enjoy what I do and I'm trying to improve where I can. I think shooting club meets is great! You're appreciated more and I think it's a more enjoyable experience.
Thanks! I put 1 and 2 in, not because they were the best shots I took, but because I wanted to get opinions on them. Luckily with 1, I have a very similar shot of the same bike but without other bikes around it. Number 2 was a bit of a fluke and I couldn't decide whether it was good or bad...
I have to agree with this. I sometimes forget that it's possible to get away with that tight a crop.
It also amazes me that this is Silverstone - admittedly I haven't been for a while but the fences all seem so far away from the track. I need to get a 400mm lens! :)
Well, I'm never keen on shooting the Indy Circuit because of the fences. I've come to the conclusion that I really need my teleconverter and the lens wide open to get the best shots. However, at some point I must have forgotten this and zoomed out. On the camera's screen, the pictures look fine...
There seemed to be quite a few togs on the inside of Druids on Saturday. Looks like there was better light today, you actually appear to have some sunlight breaking through!
Blimey, haven't checked this thread for a while. I've been a bit quiet for a couple of weeks but I'm still alive! :)
Haven't shot any motorsport for a few weeks but I'm back at Brands for the BMCRC finale in a week's time.
