Show us yer film shots then!

Taken about 8 years ago, but the second one still looks like it's from the late '80s ;) ... The Lloyds Building, London. Kodak T-Max 400

Sunday lunch ... a hundred years ago.

Sorry that I wasn't around to field that question. Yes, I believe that it is indeed some sort of knife sharpener. My mum seemed to think so (and she's probably old enough to know ;-) ). Funnily enough, the photo was taken in an NT (National Trust) house (Petworth House, to be precise), but...

Chiddingfold church ... on Judgement Day!?

Yeah, me too :giggle: . I'll never be able to afford it though. Good question, Les. It's not a bank of Nikon Speedlights ;) - it's a (halogen?) floodlight mounted at the base of the church wall, illuminating the front of the building. It's almost as if God wanted me to photograph it :giggle: .

Sunday lunch ... a hundred years ago.

Just seemed to lend itself to black & white ;) .

Chiddingfold church ... on Judgement Day!?

OK, maybe it's just a nice sunset and not the fiery firmament :giggle: . Still, quite daramatic nonetheless. Interesting fact about this idyllic village in rural Surrey - '70s punk band, "The Stranglers", lived in a house on the very same road as this church, in their formative years. Fleetwood...

    A Shot in the Dark.

I also took another shot of the church building itself from the side. Again, taken in near darkness, with a long exposure (more 'building' in this one for you ;)) ...

Show us yer film shots then!

I wish :giggle: ! No, they were lab processed. Much better quality and reliability than I could ever manage myself ;) .

    A Shot in the Dark.

Literally ... this was taken well after the sun had gone down and the whole scene was in darkness. It's amazing what a DSLR's sensor can dredge up out of its memory when you push it to ;) ... Thanks for looking and Merry Xmas .

Show us yer film shots then!

Spent most of the night scanning the negs from my second (recent) roll of Velvia 100, so I thought I'd post a few more here :) . I do love this film - shame that it's so damned expensive :( . Velvia 100, Nikkor MF lenses, Nikon F-301

Show us yer film shots then!

Yet another from that roll of Velvia 100. It's impressive just how well the highlights are held in check with slide film :) . I can easily imagine them being 'blown' on a DLSR (without the use of HDR processing). Velvia 100, Nikkor MF lenses, Nikon FA

Processed this month, but shot 5 years ago :giggle: ... Velvia 100, Nikkor MF lenses, Nikon FA

What's wrong with my camera (Nikon F-301) ? Opinions ....

Hi Nick! Thanks for your input and for raising an interesting point. As the mark only extends to the very beginning of the sprocket holes (and gets thicker towards the outside edges), it does rather suggest that the light leak is coming through the shutter curtain itself and not from the back...
