Tried to tether my 5d mark ii with Lightroom today on my MacBook Pro. Lightroom would not detect camera. It recognised there were pictures on the memory card but just would not tether.
Checked firmware was up to date.
Lightroom is always updating to latest edition via adobe

Just an update. Just inserted another battery. The display came back on asking me to set date and time. As I lifted the camera to do so the display went off again. I think it needs a few days to dry out ?
