My first go at a pano and this is 5 shots stitched together.

My first photo of a barn owl and this one caught me by surprise as i was taking pics of short eared owls at the time,but i did manage to get a couple of shots of it.

I have this lens and have been looking for a new tripod myself. Similar budget to yours as well but it looks like im going to have to spend a bit more. The feisol CT-3342 seems to tick all the boxes and i will probably go for the rapid version of this one when its back in stock...

Spotted this at fairburn ings while waiting for the kingfisher to show up.

Tried many times at getting a shot of a kestrel but they have always been to far off, so i was happy with these. 1, 2, 3,
