Of course going further than my garden would be great, I have a location I normally use but it's a little way away and weather has been terrible here recently so I only get a short window of clear skies.
For now I have to plan climbing that post with a black bag :)
I am exceedingly happy with everything about this picture except the fact a tree appears to be exploding. Short of taking a second underexposed photo and blending them in Photoshop I see no way to fix this. I don't use photoshop at all in my pictures so here is the unedited shot.
Ok, So I tried taking some pics of a pretty car and was getting very frustrated with seeing myself and camera in all the shots.
Every time I found the angle and position I wanted I was thwarted by the reflection.
Does anybody have tips on how to deal with this? Is it possible to get the...
First shot is the best for me. Love the depth of field on it.
I imagine it being part of a tourism campaign to visit London. Great shots though, all of them.
Timing is amazing on that last shot! How many did you have to take to catch that "perfect" one?
Did you do any post on these?
I love all three but first one is the best in my opinion. They look pretty un-edited which I like btw :)
I think maybe the first image could have the contrast brought out a little more?
Anyway, all great images. Lovely shots and I am glad you took your camera...
Ok, so I managed during my holiday to get one shot off between the clouds.
(perfectly clear the week before and after my break! I HATE English weather)
Any tips on cleaning this up? So far I've not done much. Just stacked 11 images and tweaked the levels a tiny bit.
Any suggestions of how I can bring out the colour in the rainbow?
It looked a lot nicer in person than it came out on camera. Several people say they can't even see it!

I did consider aligning the seats and pedals, but then I thought about it and that felt too staged.
I like the "raw" look of the bikes as they are. Maybe I will do another with all the seats and pedals aligned to see how it compares.
Stupid 6ft fence.
I have no idea how you kept your camera stable looking over that thing!
All my attempts have ended in blurred crappy shots or looking through the fence.
Congrats on an amazing shot, I wish I could have got even the stones looking that good let alone getting the ISS in there...
They are indeed :)
One day I will find the right spot to capture that scene.
The idea of this shot was to deliberately obscure the scene, give a hint of what was there.
They say sometimes less is more?
I agree maybe framing/cropping it better to have less tree may help.
