    Canon FF mirrorless...

I didn't do a very good job of explaining what I meant by half hearted, but yes, that sums it up Cagey75. Also, didn't mean to come across as sounding like the M series are not good enough or a capable series of cameras. I get a feeling that this RF mount is going to go places, Canon have put a...

    Canon FF mirrorless...

"I'm glad Canon have finally started to make a real start on mirrorless" - is what I was getting at. The EOS M range was not really even a half hearted effort. The R seems like it has a little bit more heart about it, a vision, and perhaps a future. For now though; I'll just enjoy the flapping...

    Canon FF mirrorless...

View: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IwUHBolbCbU Well, that's some what surprising. Pushing 5 stops is extreme, but it's clear that whilst it's the same sensor, the R is not able to produce the same results as the 5D4. Today I took delivery of a 5D4, upgrading from the 5D3. The R is an...

    Nikon d850 "in development"

I'm in too deep to abandon Canon, is all I keep thinking. The same can probably be said for many Canon users. I am tempted by the 850 though. Such is the ongoing frustrating nature of owning Canon.

    To 70-200 or not?

I don't think the 70-200 fits very well for your purpose, especially travel. Check out the 70-300L, it's small and compact and will offer greater reach if need be. Mine travels with me everywhere. It's a gem. I'd be looking at a wide angle lens also.

Canon EOS 5D Mark IV Owners Thread

Correct, for some reason they view this as a flagship feature. Meanwhile, Nikon place this feature all over there range of Cameras.

Canon EOS 5D Mark IV Owners Thread

The price is crazy, I don't care much for video but I can see why people are annoyed with the jpeg motion and lackluster FPS. What really is making my blood boil right now though is the fact that (yet again!) they have failed to include the ability to meter from a specific AF point. Unbelievable.

Nice shots. For C&C I would say that the vignetting on 1 and 2 are a tad too intense.

    London City Airport

Thanks all, the shot was taken on public grounds. I would say that London City airport has one of the best vantage points of any airport. Get to the Royal Albert Dock DLR station and head straight out, you'll come to the water side and a walk way which stretches the entire length of the airport...

    Sigma 150-600mm contemporary

Took the 150-600C out to London City Airport. The clouds broke quite nicely and I was treated to some nice early evening light. Really quite pleased with the level of detail and sharpness on these, these large subjects are much more forgiving than the feathery winged kind. :p London City...
