    New Laptop Advice

A desktop kind of restricts me to one room, with a laptop I can use it anywhere, including when I'm away from home, I looked at some Lenovo's but reviews said the screens were bad, but I will look again with the advice on hard drives and screen type that you have provided.

    New Laptop Advice

Hi everyone, Happy New Year, my old Toshiba laptop has died and I am looking to buy a new laptop that will be used mainly for photo editing, I currently subscribe to Photoshop CC and use Lightroom as my main tool, can anyone recommend a good laptop for around £500? I am currently thinking about...

    Canon Zoom Lens

Good idea, I'll break it down 1. Budget £400 to £500, Quite happy for new, used or grey. 2. Sharpness is important, aperture is fine around 4.5 and focal length does not need to be more than 300/400. 3. I would prefer light as possible. 4. Handling not an issue. 5. Weather sealing not important.

    Canon Zoom Lens

Omg I give up, I've completely muddled my brain with reviews and different lenses, I've been looking at the tamron 100-400mm f/4.5-6.3 di vc usd as well as the L lenses and I really cant decide!!

    Canon Zoom Lens

Thanks Mr Badger that is definitely a consideration, I'm no professional so the additional cost of an L lens isn't really justifiable.

Hi all, I'm thinking of getting the Canon EF 70-300mm f/4-5.6 IS II USM, anyone have any experience of this lens? Is it worth getting? Will be paying £465.

Yeah i can understand what your'e all saying, thank you, i don't usually photograph people, i normally do landscapes but would like to do more people, mainly family portraits but i really struggle to get photos of people that "pop". Thanks for all your comments.
