    Ex-Works Civic EP3

It came up for sale on the Civic forums last year as a rolling shell, but obviously no works engine for that price, just a standard K20A2 with gearbox http://www.kitcar-trader.co.uk/detail.php?siteid=1126 http://www.touringcarspares.com/car_list.php?cat=sold Be interested to see how it does...

Would you give your work away

Well I used to, until I posted some full size photos on this obscure forum - I think it was called Northloop or something, and people started taking them and using them without permission. I seem to remember they were even made into calendars and sold. So no, I don't post anything online at all...

To hire or not to Hire(lens)

There are a few holes in the fence in Eau Rouge but you would have to get there really early to get a chance of poking your camera through those. Otherwise as others have said take comfy walking shoes, wet weather gear, pack lunch and water and be prepared for a hike through the forest.

Yes getting there early would be good. Also try and get up somewhere high so you have a good vantage point. Also watch your background and shoot so that the runners have the sun in their faces as they come towards you

    FAO All Motorsport Photographers

That will not be for large events, where paying spectators are forbidden to sell photos or video. You can't even sell or (technically speaking) host online (Youtube etc) video footage from your own car on a trackday. And the onsite fee is quite large, Brands was around £300 but that was a...

    FAO All Motorsport Photographers

Some interesting points on this thread, and I wholly agree that most people seem to think that because they have bought a nice camera that automatically qualifies them to indulge their hobby on the other side of the fence to the spectators. It just doesn't work like that. Oh and FWIW I made...

    d300 grip

I went the AA route and bought two sets of 8 Eneloop batteries and an extra MS-D10 tray so I can change quickly, plus one EN-EL3e in the camera anyway Can't see the point of spending £100 for the EN-EL4a, £120 on the MH-21 charger plus you need the BL-3 battery cover as well which is another...

    AA batteries

Sanyo Eneloops all the way for occasional use, for regular use I am a fan of the Uniross 2700's because they are no thicker than normal AA's
