I can hear it flip up like it used to when I hit live view :shrug: Gonna give Jessops a call cos this isn't normal!

I couldn't fire the shutter with the lens off so I set a 30 sec exposure waited for it to be safe to take of the lens and had a look. There was a black like curtain over where you would expect the sensor (with the mirror flipped up) .

Well I've had it about a week and it decides to start playing up. Basically, it worked fine before, but today I pull it out of the bag and all the pictures I take are black. The lens cap is off for a starter :lol:, the histogram shows all the information is in the extreme lows, the camera...

After reading some Jessops horror stories online, I'm hoping my camera arrives today!

Wilkinsons cameras got a b-stock d90 with 18-105 lens for £599, best I've seen around. £449 body only too.

Well, I've just gone and bought the d3100 from jessops and expect it tomorrow, so you can count me in the club! :)

So happy to read this, just sold my a200 to fund getting into the nikon system. I have been deliberating buying the d90 but can't really afford it, so I decided on the d3100 and have money left over to travel and actually get to use the camera! Also some moolah for a 35mm 1.8 prime ;)
