Brilliant thanks everyone. It's one of the reason I like the Godox X Trans system for their lights. I use the AD200 with a couple of speedlights normally and am looking at some of their studio lights too.
It allows me to move between them all without needing extra triggers.
Good evening,
A friend has asked if they can borrow one of my speedlights when I visit them but my speedlights are Godox TT685F and they have a Olympus system with the Godox X2T-O.
Now assuming it won't send TTL information does anyone know if it'll still send manual settings over the Godox X...
It's a lovely little camera and the bloke who sold it wasn't sure if it worked (I think it was a quick buy and sell job as there was a receipt for a charity shop in the bag)
Had a spare weekend whilst away with work and decided to take a punt on a Pentax Super ME off Facebook marketplace.
Ran a roll of Ilford XP2 through and got some half decent shots
It's been a while since I got to play with my camera due to work and the lockdown.
Decided to get creative at home and shot some soap bubbles.
This was shot on my Fuji XT3 with a Samyang 100mm f2.8 Macro lens.
I'm quite pleased with how it came out.
First proper use of the XT3 last weekend at Sedgwick County Zoo and with the 50-230 XC lens all's I can say is how blown away I am.
Moving from Canon to Fuji seems to have been the correct choice for me. So natural to use, easier to carry all day and the images are lovely.
Got a random question I'm hoping someone more experienced can help with. I do a lot of filming on a gimbal however with the XT3 as soon as the back of the gimbal casts a shadow on the eyecup I lose the back screen. Is there an option I'm missing to prevent the rear screen from going off?
Everything I've read about the XT3 made it seem perfect for me. Really good portrait prime lenses - Check; a good 100-400 lens for wildlife/sports - Check; really good video capabilities - Check (although I may have to splash out on an Atomos to boost it).
I completely agree a lot of the...
Ha ha if you could see my youtube history for the last year it's filled with various videos of comparisons on all the mirrorless systems and reviews and such.
I spend way too long over analysising which will be right for me but in the end it came down to Sony being too expensive for my blood...
Finally pulled the trigger and moved from Canon (5D2) to Fuji (XT-3). Should arrive Tues next week and I'm looking at a 18-55 on the forum at the moment to add to it. Now comes the fun of relearning a new system after 15+ years of Canon DSLR use.
Wow definitely worth the waiting in the cold. I need to motivate myself to a) find a good spot for wildlife b) get out in the dark and set up ready for the morning light and 3) do more wildlife photography
Thanks for sharing.
