A little clip of Ospresy fishing

Thanks Markyboy.1967, That was just a little clip of what I hope will become a vlog of wildlife I see/guide to and my wildlife travels to British Columbia and Cambodia later in the year, but this summer will be all about Highland species and mostly Ospreys. Cheers Gordon.

    Crested Tit

Well if the weathers good they should be easy, more Mountain Hares the last few years, managed an image with the two together, the Ptarmigan looking at the Hare as it sat beside him, might be snow bunting in the car park, anyway better go, don't want to hijack the thread. Cheers Gordon.

    Crested Tit

Hi Markyboy, Plenty time yet for Cresties, snowing now as i look out the window but not forecast to come to much, i have been out and about in the forests since arriving home from the Grizzlies in BC, i'm sure we will get plenty snow soon, be good for the Ptarmigan and Red Grouse too. Cheers...

    Crested Tit

Nice set Mark, If you are planning on photographing them in the Aviemore/Cairngorm area i would say wait a little, really wet and sleat the last couple of days but snow on its way they say, turning colder in the next few days they say. Cheers Gordon.

Workshop Super Natural British Columbia Canada

Hi All, Just finished the details of the first of two trips to British Columbia for 2017, not for the faint-hearted Grizzlies and Black Bears, covering to many species to mention, max 4 photographers, only one spot left for the first trip and i haven't even posted it out to my mailing list. For...

    Ospreys from the new hide

Hi All, Finally, I am indebted to Gordon for my own (decent) Crested Tit image, as he helped me to find it by puting me in the right spot, without any money changing hands. But I don't feel guilty about it, even though it gives him something to niggle me about being a tight fisted Aberdonian...

    Ospreys from the new hide

Hi All, What really annoys the hell outa me, is photographers who don't let on some of their pics are from paid sites & actually pretend they've spent months/years staking out truly wild birds/animals. Are you suggesting that Ospreys are not wild birds or it takes no skill to get an Osprey image...

    Ospreys from the new hide

Thanks Bill, Will get back to you soon, but as as a long time critic your images must be processed the best with your experience, i like them all even if the subject is not my cup of tea, one of the guys thought there was to much processing on the birds with yellow eyes like the Heron, i don't...

    Ospreys from the new hide

Hi Bill, You say they are in the wrong section so i remove them and now you want me to put them back in the same section, ok here's the thing, i am sure your images must be technically fantastic, with more than 10,000 post and i. sure thousands in the critique on birds, one of the images i...

    Ospreys from the new hide

Hi Bill, I have already said i will post them in a different section, but i guess you are again not reading what i write, den i do want to value Bill's Critique so will ask everybody this week including the wildlife photographer of the year to give me feedback on Bill's images. Den i post on...

    Ospreys from the new hide

Hi Bill, I mean't a 1,000 wildlife photographers, not 1,000 professional photographers, its late for me to be up, no the heron was not mine, its was just mean't to show strange behavior and only for fun, i know what was all wrong with the image. I do not think that you will improve by looking...

    Ospreys from the new hide

Thanks Bill, But you must remember most critique is only an opinion, with due respect i cannot value your opinion, the reason being it is in conflict with 1,000 other wildlife photographers, but possibly you are that good. To state it is a reasonable image, not sure what kind of quality...

    Ospreys from the new hide

Perfectly understood Bill, but you should read over my first post again, Gary's image has reached thousands of wildlife photographers and only you have said the image is reasonable, everybody else thinks its brilliant. I do understand what you are saying but you really need to read what I write...
