Thanks pooley, now you mention the crop I completely agree and will edit. I do have a full length image too (several actually), but am not quite so keen on those.

Went to the Island, so had to go to the airport. Only regret in hindsight is that I didn't stand further back and get the beach in the shot to show what it's really like. Ahh well. Experiencing the KLM coming in was unreal.

Visited Curacao as part of a Caribbean cruise over Christmas and came across this chap. Spotted when he (she?) scared my girlfriend half to death, about 3 feet long from nose to tail.

Hey all, My 50D died whilst on holiday and am hoping for inspiration for things to try before sending it off to Canon. Happened, after 2 weeks on holiday, 1000 ish photos in. Camera was at rest on a table, and I was flicking through photos. Turned away for a couple of mins, turned back, camera...

I think I'd up the contrast on that last b&w, make the white pop a bit more, and it'll work nicely. The first one is far superior in colour, lovely warm tones and a great image.

Like them all, but that last one is for me the best of the bunch, the setting mess up has produced a cracking image.
