weekly Donnie's 52 for 2013 - Value and many others added to catchup!

Gravity - Well worked and bang on theme. Love the background too. Wild - Nicely lit and great DoF. How you managed to set up and get the shot before he moved I don't know. My dog seems to lie there posing until the camera comes out and then he just wants to play. Space - Works for the theme...

weekly 52 in 2013: Brian of Bozeat : COMPLETE

Space - Lovely colours and composition. Superb take on the theme. Work - Great motion blur, and a much much cleaner bike than mine! Gluttony - No longer available Juxtaposition - Nice shot, but it would work even without the car key wouldn't it? Letter - Looks like a lovely quaint village...

weekly aljazzeras 2013 52-week 52 WATER added COMPLETE

Way behind on comments, so here goes... Wild - Love the clarity of the lion and the detail on the fur. A really strong image. Space - A lovely landscape. Did you use stacking for this or is it one shot? Work - Stunning shot, especially as you did it without a tripod. The only negatives for me...

Where the hell has the last few months gone? Luckily I now have a bit of free time to start catching up on my 52. Weeks 3 and 4 are in hand, but require a lot of work, so for now they're on hold. Anyway, here's weeks 5 and 6 to begin with... Week 5 - Space Photo 52 Week 5 - Space...

Thanks all. Starting to fall behind now. I've got Gravity in hand, but am looking for the right background, which is proving hard to find. Should be pretty straightforward once I've got it though. Wild is fully planned out, but relies on me being able to leave work for a full lunch hour...

Thanks all. Graham - The crop could go tighter, but the high ISO becomes pretty evident so I played it safe. Would definitely fancy getting even closer. Fingers crossed for a fresh flurry over the weekend.

Cheers Andy. It's a Sigma 105mm Macro. I love the lens, but the shallow DoF on a macro is so bloody frustrating.

Gravity is fantastic. The colours and lighting are perfect, and no trace of the glass. Spot on.

Not sure if I prefer it cropped or not. Both work for me, and as Ray said, there's a very Dickensian feel to it. What larks, Pip!
