Couple of early shots from my first few days with the X100F, 2nd is a 3 shot pano stitched in LR.
Still trying to figure out my favourite JPEG settings but having fun so far.

Just ordered an X100F and looking forward to getting back in to photography.
Had an XT-1 up until 3 years ago but had a bit of burn out and got a bit fed up with lugging lenses about or not being able to decide which ones to take!
Is there anything I should be aware of settings wise that I...
Tempted to try one of these. I did have a Canon G7x for about 2 weeks but didn't like it a great deal.
I'd just like something to keep on me at all times or for occasions when I don't fancy taking the DSLR.
Had my X-T1 for about 3 months now and really enjoying learning it.
Is there any reason to not use the electronic shutter all the time? I've left it on ES as we've had a lot of family weddings recently and I wanted to keep the camera silent.
How much does it cost for calibration when outside of warranty? My 16-85 and 35mm both need -17 fine tuning and even then I'm not sure if I have it spot on.
Would rather just send it off and have it done properly!

Looks the same as this set which is £5 cheaper on Amazon. There are a few reviews there too.

This is often a scam relying on someone being so happy they are getting much more money than they thought.
Someone tried this with me once. They sent me a realistic Paypal Email but from a fake Paypal address saying that the money (twice what I expected) was being held until I provided a...
I've got a chance to get an original Tamron 17-50 non vc model for fairly cheap. Its the earliest one I believe with model number A16N with no auto focus motor. From reading around I believe this is the best version to go with faster focusing but being an earlier model it is probably around 3-4...
I may have to think about this a bit more. The trouble is I do a lot of different types of photography which neither lens covers completely. I do a lot of landscape and architecture (16-85) but also a lot of indoors stuff at parties and restaurants (17-50).
Maybe the 16-85 + 35mm 1.8 would be a...
Thanks for your reply.
I'm tempted by the Tamron but have heard a lot of people complaining about quality issues or that they have to keep sending them back until they get a decent copy. I am pretty much busy for the next month so won't have a chance to get to a camera shop to test them for...
I have a D7000 and am looking for a general walk around lens. I will mostly be taking general travel photos and photos of the kids.
I have narrowed it down to 2 lenses, the Nikon 16-85 and the Tamron 17-50 2.8.
What would people recommend considering I already have the 35mm 1.8?
Also if I was...
Can't decided between the Tamron 17-50 or the Nikon 16-85 as my walkabout lens. Will be used mostly on holidays and days out.
Anyone tried both and have an opinion? If I was to get the 16-85 I would get the 35mm 1.8g for indoor and low light use.
