    Panasonic TZ200/CLux

Due to ill health, I have just downsized to a TZ200. I know it will never be as good as a DSLR; But i'm slowly getting used to it. It is what it is, a small walkabout pocket camera with a usable zoom length.

    Upgrade of laptop

i don't have the space for desktop. also with my wife being disabled, don't want to be in separate rooms. a new one would give peace of mind for at least 12 months.

    Upgrade of laptop

Thanks for your responses. To get an 8th gen and 16gb ram would cost more than this one. The base processor speed is a lot more than my old laptop and more than the base speed of the 8th gen; that is why i am looking at this one. Regards to gaming my grandson is growing up and he might want to...

    Upgrade of laptop

Hi All. My ageing laptop is coming to the end of the road. I use it mainly for web browsing, internet and of course photo editing. I use CS6 the stand alone version which I bought outright a while ago. It also has the NIK software installed in it. I edit photos from both my D800 and D7200. Will...

    Laptop for Photo Editing

I am led to believe all new 8*** series processors are quad core. As the one for the laptop I asked about is quad core. Looking at the speck; the screen size is my only concern.

    Laptop for Photo Editing

I used to have a desktop system, but the grandson took over the room. Wifey won't have a computer in the lounge, so was relegated to a laptop. Listening to what you say, should I therefore be looking at a larger laptop; like a 17 inch.

    Laptop for Photo Editing

Hi all, would like your comments on the following speck laptop. It is to replace my ageing HP Pavilion . It looks a good speck with the latest i7-8550u processor. My concern is it is only a 14" screen. Cannot find any other laptop of this configuration for the price. Thanks in advance for any...

    Choice of Lenses

Thanks for your reply and photos. I have the Tamron 150-600 but due to health issues am finding it to heavy to carry around. I wanted a longer reach lens for some wildlife shots and also off shore boat/ship shots living in Plymouth; as I have the best of both worlds ( seascape and landscape...

    Choice of Lenses

Can't make up my mind to buy a Tamron 18-400 or a Sigma 100-400 Lens. It will be used on a Nikon D7200. Have trawled the net and read many reviews about both lenses; but none are positive one way or the other. Anyone on this forum has/had one of these lenses; if so what was your findings. Thanks...

    camera body for tamron 150-600

Thanks Tom24. Ideally people will say the D500; but I think its overkill just for one lens. As long as it focuses quick the d7200 seems the next best body.

    camera body for tamron 150-600

Hi All, am thinking of a second camera body to use with my Tamron 150-600. Something on the lines of a Nikon D7200. I am currently using it on my D800; which I use with my other lenses for landscape photography. The D800 is ok but not very forgiving with the Tamron. Also going DX would also give...
