I meant with the reflector still in place...so...same as you would with a sock on a beauty dish...(reflector inside bouncing light...sock on outside diffusing light)... Thanks all... Ive owned and used a 70cm silver one...and found them a bit crispy on the highlights for my liking...hence the white ones here I was looking at... I dont mind the rotating issue...minor to make sure it it one way up... It comes with a sock that head a circle rather than Octa...

Okay...I have 2 x 550EX Speed lights... Thinking of moving to Godox 850(Manual)/860(ETTL)/AD-360(Manual)... But might keep the Canons if I can use them with YN-622s... Do they let you control the power (I know it will not let you send TTL signals...so only manual power change) of 550EX...

Hi...called Canon about my 5D Mark 1 for the mirror fix and how to go about organising it to be done...number from here... http://www.canon.co.uk/Support/Consumer_Products/Telephone_Numbers/telephone_numbers.aspx I've just been told that the camera fix is only for mirrors that have fallen...

Certainly less chance of it happening...and I imagine if it does...that would have to sort it again... We may have a cross purpose in 2013 then 'toadstool'...before you splash that much on one drop me a line...I've decided to send it off to have the fix done... Mine is VGC...will come boxed...
