Panasonic 14-140 but which one is what ?

I'm expecting delivery of a nearly new, kit lens 14-140 from MPB today... only £309 and marked as "Good as new". Looking forward to trying it out as it looks good on the E-M10 when I've seen it.

Panasonic 14-140 but which one is what ?

Thanks guys. I'm happy recognising the difference now. As you all point out there are a few clues, filter size, f5.6 and paint job. Apart from that how DO you tell the difference :LOL::LOL: Thanks again....

Panasonic 14-140 but which one is what ?

There are two models of the above lens on the market. The f4-5.8 and the f4-5.6. Some of the latter are marked as MkII on websites but others not, yet the f rating is 4-5.6. I've always assumed the 4-5.8 is the older model and ALL 4-5.6 are the MkII even if the markings are different on some...

Simple (?) Lens Choice for Oly OMD E-M10 MKII

Thanks folks..... Seems the lenses people end up with are pretty similar. They certainly line up with my uses as well which helps. And its certainly the case that MFT kit is lighter and more compact than most and has an extensive range as well. No mention of the 14-150 I see which is highly...

Simple (?) Lens Choice for Oly OMD E-M10 MKII

Often asked question I know but having moved between various makes of CSC and M43 I want to start off with some straightforward lenses.. Say around three I intend to use this excellent little camera for walks in the countryside, towns, holidays and macro. Other than macro nothing dedicated like...

    Grey import yes or no

Depends on the level of "paranoia" we all suffer from but its always a relative gamble Argument for buying from the cheapest, well known, supplier regardless of grey or not. In which case I'd consider second hand from one of the members here or AV Forums for better price. Risk of going wrong...

    Grey import yes or no

There has to be a tipping point where it just makes sense. £140 is not small potatoes to be fair and £164 saving is more than enough. And with HDEW you do get that warranty, they are UK based and have been around for years.

    Grey import yes or no

I have used HDEW before to but a Sony A6000 and the service was great. It came with a non UK lead but I already had a spare and I just mentioned it in an email saying everything was basically fine and I got one in the next post. nice and friendly as well. For me well worth it as they are in...

Nikon DSLR to Mirrorless, which one???

I've pretty much gone through the lot. Main reason now is something I can just pick up and go easily without the weight and bulk. Gone from Sony A580, A77, Sony A6000 (twice), Oly OMD EM10, Fuji X10, Fuji X-T1, Sony RX100, Oly OMD E-M10 Mk II Enjoyed them all particularly the A77 be it all a...

The Fabulous Fuji X owners thread

I will indeed thanks. It was just a quick "snap" with my little travel camera. I was pleased...not surprised..... that it worked so well after the advice I was given and the examples. Its a good effect and I will have play with my various bits and pieces... thanks again

The Fabulous Fuji X owners thread

It's rubbish.... but this was the shot I took with a Panasonic TZ25...quickly tweaked the exposure to -2 , in shutter mode and pre flash. Made my hands look all jaundiced but still pleased to see the black background. Terrible shot but follows the basic principals as suggested with the "correct"...

As I said....you learn something every day, thanks again. Interesting what you did with "Light 1" George. The end result is really impressive and well worth the effort
