Camera/Lens repairs in South Essex

Does anyone know of a good camera and lens repair shop in the Southend area?
I have a Nikkor 28-105mm 3.5-4.5 D which I dropped and it seemed to be shuddering and not focussing beyond a few feet. I had had it for a few weeks only and it was a lovely lens!
I have had it repaired in the Billericay area but it seems to be way out of focus. I shall take it back to the repairer, obviously, but was just curious as to the availability of lens repairs in my area.

Would appreciate your help.
 
Simon, was the Ilesley camera repairs in Billericay (Noak Hill Road)...they can usually do a pretty good job. However, if you're not happy with it then my advice would be to try Fixation in London. They're a Nikon Authorised Service Centre and if they can't fix it, they'll return it to Nikon...

They aren't cheap though!

Yes, it was indeed Ilesley. I have yet to speak to them about it as i have been working all day, hence my late reply to you. I am sure that they will look at it again, although they had the lens for three months(!) in for repair.
Thank you for suggesting Fixation. I shall look them up in the meantime.
 
Thank you for the suggestion Rob. I suppose there is no harm in talking to them about if I the problem is not resolved.
