Canon 5D classic - safe to use a Kenko 1.4 TC?

Morning all,

Just picked up a lovely 5D mk1 at the weekend and want a bit of reassurance that a teleconverter can be used without fouling the mirror assembly ?
Just putting together a bag with all the full-frame stuff and segregating the crop lenses so that incompatible stuff is kept seperate.

Comparing the 1.4 (Kenko pro300 dgx) with a Canon ET-S 60mm lens I think that the EF-S mount protrudes slightly further but if someone can confirm that I'm safe using the TC I would be very grateful.

TC will be fine on camera (but EF-S lenses won't fit either the TC or the camera).

I'm using it with no issues, it's a decent teleconverter. Slightly more CA than the Canon one, but it works with a LOT more lenses. The above poster is correct though, EF-S lenses aren't supported.
