hi, still visiting the lovely dorset landscape and today was at the location where the hit show Broadchurch was filmed. Been before but enjoyed this visit because last time we arrived late in the day on a rainy day. Luckly the rain held off today but clouds did add some atmosphere. Love to here your views because im just glad i found my mojo again.

Your beachscape shots all seem to have a very similar effect on the break on the shore. I think it always works really well, and finds the middle ground between completely flattened water, or scruffy waves very nicely. What are you shooting at?? 1/4s??
The lighting does looks quite flat, but I think you have carved some good images out of the day!

Thanks matty, spot on with shutter speed. Only problem was shooting f22 to achieve this. Don't like shooting at such a low aperture because it shows dust bunnies and picture doesn't come out as sharp as possibly could at optimum f8-ff16. Thanks for kind words, trying to work round the weather can be a pain, especially when this is the only time you get to visit a location living so far away.

No1 for me.

Did you climb that hill / cliff ? It's a damn site steeper than it looks from car park. Fortunately, it was easier coming down as I managed to spend most of it on my backside :)

Lovely set.
I'm perticularly drawn to #3. The water drawing back is just right on that one.

Thanks for all comments. Yes did climb that hill Damian and was disappointed that there was a golf course on top, but did go down on my backside lol. Thanks jake will Look into them damm dust bunnies. Had my camera three years think it deserves a proper clean!

I know - I was expecting that hut thing where Danny had his rendezvous ! Damn.

Should have asked my wife's aunt who lives on the other side of the bay at the top of the hill.
