I'd kind of lost a bit of enthusiasm for landscape photography, Im usually out whenever I have some spare time but for about 8 or 9 weeks I just couldnt be bothered taking my camera out.

I'm guilty of arriving someplace, deciding on the best comp and getting to work capturing the best shot I can of it.

This time, I tried to move around, slow myself down a bit and try to pull out as many compositions as I could from the loch side.

Here are the first 6 I captured - any comments or feedback much appreciated.

They are all single raw files, opened in ACR then slightly tweaked in photoshp CS6.

Lovely (y)....#1, #4 and especially #3 for me as the light falling on the hillside breaks up its 'dark mass' nicely!

What a lovely set of images.
I'm jealous.

Good work there. I'll have to have a trip up there soon :)

Windrunner I am out of words. They look so real. What feedback you need on these. I think you already know the answer.

I need feedback from you :) Can you give us the details and gear you have used for this. I definite I could learn a lot from you

Another vote for #3.

A very pleasing composition and lots to keep your eye interested once you are into the picture.

Excellent

For me I actually think I prefer num 5:)
Scrolling down through them all its the one I went back to have another look at.

Thank you for all the comments.

Thanks = they are shot with a D7000, Sigma 10-20mm and cokin grads (used a 70-300mm for 5 - no grads.

PP wise - I open in ACR and adjust exposure, shadows and whites. After that its into PS where I'll adjust curves and leveles. Depending on the shot Imight use a a brush tool to selectively saturate areas. I like to set the delective sharpen tool to about 10% and go over the boats too. Adds a little pop and clarity against the soft water / skies.

Cheers.

Thanks - I've found it interesting how folks opinions differ and everyone prefers a different one.
