Interesting locations, Northampton

We move tomorrow, but I'll need a bit of time to get out stuff sorted. :)

Now I know it's between Boughton (not broughton...that's Kettering side) and Moulton, I'll be sure to find it with a bit of effort :)

Northampton here too.. (just pulling into the station, heh)

Some good shots can be found, especially that old train line you were talking about in Far Cotton (near Netto).
 
Been given some good leads on interesting places which me and my fiancee' are going to scope out.

Should be visiting that old St Johns tonight ready for a shoot this weekend, got a booking in on thursday and a booking complete from sunday...gonna be a busy week
 
Hi Spew yeah that was the one I was talking about :) when I find a spair 20m ill look though my albums and see if I can find anywhere else within town. Might have to go out exploring again soon
 
Did 5 miles with my fiancee' last night, starting at Semilong and walking through to Far Cotton, along the abandoned freight line, down behind Netto (couldn't find another entrance point) and leading down behind Nunns Mill (Northampton) Power Station, then through the park and up back home

Got some good ideas :)
 
I didn't think you could get in at Netto? Not without climbing the fence ;) the old freight line towards Northampton station is very accessible. Near the Avon part it's fenced off from memory.

Might have to do another walk down their soon. We did the bit behind the avon building but from memory we had to access that part of the line from Brackmills.
 
Unplugged: definitely no access at netto side. Access behind ad board and behind Nunns Mill (Avon) there's an open section now.

JustDave: not had the chance to look yet, been busy processing two shoots and been on a shoot today, so we're just gonna wing it on the shoot day...not my usual style, but I'm sure we'll be ok.

Can't wait :)

Just been reading the thread with interest and spotted this. Just a tip, you may find it more secure to send your number by PM. That way it isn't visible to everyone on the net ;) Just a friendly word of caution. :D

I've just seen the date on this, "holy thread revival, batman" shall we see if it still works :p
 
Silverstone and Santa pod are both close by.

Or are you looking for locations to photograph your own or your friends cars?
 
Hi all im glad ive come across this, im looking for some good locations in the Northampton area, ive been down here about 4-5 yrs now but no idea wheres best to go for some good shots, im down in Briar Hill and ive come across the graffiti under the bridge by B&M, which im gonna have a look at this weekend weather permitting that is

but if you can point me in the right direction for a bit of variety that would be fantastic :), i did post a thread asking if anyone was Northampton based but not had any bites yet
